CARLIN GOLD
Carlin Gold Corporation (“Carlin”, or the “Company”) is a Vancouver based exploration company with three wholly-owned properties in Nevada; two focused on Carlin-type gold targets, and a copper-gold skarn project. The Company’s corporate presentation and the Nevada project summaries can be viewed on this website. For your convenience, the Corporate presentation can also be downloaded.

Cortez Summit Project Key Takeaways
- Carlin’s 100% owned Cortez Summit project (142 claims) is located in a mineral district with substantial Carlin-type gold deposits.
- Deposits in the Cortez District are generally aligned in NNW trends.
- Barrick’s new Fourmile deposit (located 1 Km to the west of Cortez Summit) is continuous with the Goldrush deposit in a NNW trend (see resource details in project write up “Learn More”).
- Cortez Summit has three structural NNW trends, two of which are defined by alteration and geochemistry and the third by airborne ZTEM geophysics.
- Past drilling (2012-2013) by Carlin did not penetrate deep enough to reach the gold bearing lower plate carbonate formations containing nearby deposits.
- Barrick drilled one hole (SJV17-1D) in 2017 on Cortez Summit prior to terminating its option with Carlin and the announcement of the Fourmile discovery in November 2018.
- Barrick’s drill hole encountered a thick 567 ft (173 m) zone in upper plate with clay altered, iron oxide stained, brecciated hornfels. Mineralization in the altered zone contained broad intervals of pathfinder elements including arsenic, mercury, antimony and thallium with minor gold and bottomed in lower plate Wenban carbonate strata.
- There has been no follow up drilling to Barrick’s drill hole.
- Carlin has identified primary exploration drill targets in a NNW trending structural zone with alteration, gold and pathfinder element geochemistry in the upper plate. Two additional structures are also identified for drilling.
Ivy Project Key Takeaways
- Copper (gold) project, 161 unpatented claims located in northeastern Elko County, Nevada, with drive-on access.
- Initial exploration program defined a 1 mile (1.6 km) long zone of skarn alteration/mineralization containing fine-grained disseminated chalcopyrite and bornite with minor pyrite, referred to as the Main Skarn Zone (MSZ).
- Copper values in 19 rock samples in the MSZ range from 0.09% to 5.96% Cu, averaging 1.68%. 11 additional third-party historic rock samples average 2.0% Cu.
- Carlin commissioned an IP survey to test the continuity of skarn mineralization below the MSZ and to test for deeper chargeability that may be related to a causative buried mineralizing intrusive body.
- A DC IP/Resistivity geophysical survey conducted by Zonge International has identified an IP anomaly spatially coincident and located below the surface expression of the MSZ between 150-250 m deep and open to depth.
- The deep IP survey indicated that the MSZ IP anomaly continued deeper than 250 m and also revealed a deep separate IP anomalous chargeable zone.
- Zonge’s Data Analysis Report dated October 2025 states that the observed IP values are consistent with the expected response from disseminated sulfide mineralization.
- Excellent drill targets have been defined and drilling with further IP evaluation are planned.
Willow Property Project Key Takeaways
- Carlin-type target on 47 unpatented claims located in northern Snake Range, Elko County, Nevada.
- 100% owned, subject to mineral royalties.
- Rock chip values show anomalous gold to 0.4 g/t, with Carlin-type pathfinders arsenic (to 1560 ppm), antimony (to 176 ppm), mercury (to 11.8 ppm) and thallium (to 20 ppm).
- Drill target in favorable lower plate carbonates below the Roberts Mountain Thrust (RMT).
- Alteration and Carlin pathfinder elements developed along northeast-southwest structures normal to RMT.
- 42 Ma U-Pb zircon date on altered felsic dike – similar age as most Carlin systems.
- Main structure-geochemistry target is a drilling opportunity.
Cortez Trend
The Cortez Trend has a growing endowment of gold deposits. Early gold mining on what is now called the Cortez Trend began in the 1930s at the Gold Acres deposit. Gold endowment (produced, reserves, resources) continued to grow as the original Cortez deposit started production in 1968, with additional operations commencing at Horse Canyon and Buckhorn in the 1980s. Pipeline (1996) and Cortez Hills (2009) significantly added to the gold endowment in those decades. The latest operation startup was Goldrush in 2024. The Fourmile deposit is a northern continuation of the Goldrush orebody and is on track to significantly add to the gold endowment of the Cortez Trend, which is currently over 60 million oz.
Carlin’s Cortez Summit project is well located in this illustrious and growing gold camp.
