Carlin Director Passes Away

Surrey, B.C. - Carlin Gold Corporation (TSX Venture, CGD), ("Carlin" or the "Company") announces with deep regret that Mr. Dale Bennett, an independent director of Carlin, has passed away. The Company would like to extend its deepest condolences to his family for their loss.

The directors and management of Carlin would like to acknowledge Mr. Bennetts valuable service and advice to the Company over the past two years----his contributions to the board will be greatly missed.

The Company is currently reviewing candidates in order to replace Mr. Bennett to the board of directors.
